"I had a very pleasant stay at Spanhoek Boutique Hotel in Paramaribo. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its excellent location right in the heart of the city, making it very convenient to explore downtown, visit local attractions, go shopping, and find restaurants and supermarkets within walking distance. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation, spacious rooms, good air conditioning, and Wi-Fi, making it a convenient option for both business and leisure travelers. The location is...

"Attention to detail was unbelievable. Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in ever."

"I booked and paid for this hotel in June. As I landed in Paramaribo in August ( 2 months later) I received an email sent 2 hrs before check in saying the hotel couldn't accommodate me. There was no explanation, no offer to help find another place to stay. I was at the airport trying to find same-day lodging with poor wifi. This cancelation was totally unprofessional and inconsiderate, did the hotel not know how many rooms it had vs how many guests? My taxi driver said he'd seen other travelers...

"There was a Cockroach in my room. My room was also directly above the Hotel’s garbage bin. Air conditioning wasn’t working at its best on the final 2 nights."

"Centraal gelegen, super vriendelijk personeel. Lekker ontbijt! Gemoedelijke sfeer, zwembad. Zeer ruim appartement. Heerlijk eten. Wij komen zeker weer terug"

"Breakfast was excellent"

"Our fridge was not suitable. Had to ask for an iron and they could add some microwave to the room. Internet was not adequat. But I did like the room, I would stay again."

"Alberca muy pequeña 😅"

"This is a beautiful little spot about a 20-minute walk from downtown Paramaribo. I also stayed downtown, and can surely say I much prefer being away from the noise and crowds of the city center. Villa Famiri is in a quiet, safe neighborhood within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. You can also walk to downtown though it's not a nice walk (no sidewalks, lots of trash and standing water, lots of traffic). They have a lovely common area and pool so it's great for relaxing. The real gem...
