"Great location but a little far from the port. Small luggage recommended for getting upstairs. Staff were attentive. They can book your airport transfer. My room has a great view of the marina and Pico mountain which were covered with clouds all the time. My bed and bathroom were good with great hot showers . There’s a kitchen you can use. I would stay again if I ever come back to the Azores."

"Muchas gracias a Julia y Beatriz por la facilidad de comunicación y ayuda con todo. El apartamento estaba muy limpio, en perfectas condiciones y la cama muy cómoda. The hotel is full of character with a unique historical charm — you really feel like you’re stepping into a piece of Azorean history. The location is unbeatable, right inside a fortress overlooking the marina, with a breathtaking view of Pico Island across the water. The room was comfortable, the staff friendly, and the atmosphere peaceful. Wish we had more time here!"

"We were warmly welcomed by Miguel, the owner/manager of the place. We experienced a slight inconvenience with our room at arrival, but Miguel quickly offered us a solution, which was suitable and much appreciated. The view from the terrace was incredible!
