"I travel frequently, and this was the first time I’ve ever checked into a hotel and found the door to my room left wide open. I arrived around 8:00 PM, and when I called the front desk, I was told that housekeeping sometimes leaves the door open after cleaning the room. I was honestly shocked by that response. Has anyone else experienced this? Unfortunately, the problems didn’t stop there. The bathroom had no towels, so I had to call the front desk again and wait for them to be delivered. When you arrive at a hotel—especially after a long day of traveling—you expect your room to be secure, clean, and fully prepared so you can relax and rest immediately. Leaving a guest room open and not providing basic necessities like towels falls well below those expectations."
