I found this little temple hidden away in the small mountain park near Zhishan mrt. I managed to snap this little girl excitedly running up the steps. slightly unplanned but made the picture in the end for me :)

"If you like to be in Xinmenting area this is a good hotel to be in. Near all the shops and food. Hotel only has one restaurant same as breakfast place. A small Gym. It has laundry in one floor. It’s quite new and well maintained. A Japanese hotel. No toothbrush or any other toiletries will be provided. Rooms are clean up only on alternate days. Room is not big mine was 21 sq m2"

"Room and hotel in general is very clean. We loved the public bath on the 17th floor. Location is excellent - right next to a subway stop (direct line to Taipei main station). We were glad we did not opt for breakfast - there were lots of great options that were walking distance. Highly recommend as a high quality hotel"
