"Great property. The available amenities (two onsite Olsen, one indoor and one outdoor, full size kitchen) are worth the price. Had a little hiccup when trying to find the property, but owner will provide instructions to get to the property and parking. Just need to make sure you pay attention to the pictures on the instructions. "

"Super hospitality despite the language barrier, a very charming small inn. Only a few minutes from the train station, and an easy walk to the center as well. Lots of small, nice touches and a fully equipped kitchen for guests. "

"Very nice and comfortable new house. Comfortabel beds. Hot spring bath with absolute privacy. Choice inside and outside. Beatiful location with views over the rice fields towards the mountains. We would have loved to spend another day there. Unfortunately it was fully booked!"

"We had a tatami mat room. It was comfortable. Bath was great. They need a clock up there to help honor bathing times. We couldn’t tell when our reservation was over. Breakfast was very Japanese; somethings i couldn’t eat. The staff was flexible about leaving luggage until our train."
"We found this place the last minute after we decided to stay for overnight instead of making it a day-trip from Fukuoka. Absolute good decision! Everything is so good: room, staff, and the venue. Love it."
"A nice onsen - the public baths are really nice. Don’t bother with private bath as u need to fill up your tub. The bkfast and dinner were delicious and wide varieties.
The room are spacious. The only complaint is our room has no bathing facilities- we had to use the public baths to shower! Not so convenient but thanks goodness our room is next to one of the baths."
"An international experience more than a Japanese one. But staff is nice and tries their best to offset frequent miscommunication with front desk office. For instance we reported several time we wanted a Japanese futon room, but the room was prepared as western."
"Small ryokan in the hills above Yufuin. Great Onsen. We stayed in the traditional Japanese room and it was very comfortable. It had a private Onsen that was incredible. The staff were friendly and helpful, and despite us not being from Japan or able to speak much Japanese, we never felt out of place or unwelcome. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast, amazing to see as well as eat. We only stayed 3 nights, but it was the most relaxing time of our 3 day visit."
