"Wonderful place to stay near the Sun Moon Lake bus stop. The host Sonia was absolutely great. She helped us get situated and gave suggestions on what to do and where to eat. The breakfasts and afternoon teas were delicious works of art. Would definitely stay here again!"

"Day street market was great. Room spacious and clean. Reception staff very helpful. Good breakfast selection although a few items were cold rather than warm. Not a lively town in the evening "

"Room was super clean! The property location was excellent - restaurants, bus station, and the Sun Moon Lake Cycling Route are all close by. Staff was super helpful in getting us out and about with bike rentals (they have a bike rental shop attached!) "

"This property is exceptionally well-maintained. From the moment you step in, you're greeted by a wonderfully refreshing, subtle scent that sets a lovely tone. I was particularly impressed by the impeccable cleanliness throughout – from the elevators and corridors to the room and bathroom. A delightful surprise was the inclusion of Cha Tzu Tang (茶籽堂) shampoo, body wash, and conditioner, which are high-quality, natural products. It truly elevated the stay!

"This place was in a great location (right next to a 7/11) and the staff were helpful and kind. Recommend buying boat tickets from them as they give you a discount!"

"This is a gorgeous "resort" hotel - fully 5-star aesthetic, amenities, and service all around! With several other sister properties on the island (similarly named "Lealea", quite confusing), you can't miss this grande dame with its expansive facade that you'll see if arriving from the pier.
.
It's a historical building built entirely with cypress wood. Check out the intricate architectural details of the lobby, particularly the raised ceiling! Same vibe in the all-wood, spacious double room we stayed in. Surprised, however, to find the equally spacious and modern, newly renovated bathroom (with separate bathtub and shower).
Due to its historical nature, the hotel's guestrooms are laid out on two floors and there are no elevators; but no worries, the hotel staff will eagerly carry all of your luggage to/from your room (no need to tip in Taiwan apparently).
The breakfast buffet is served in the gorgeous, lakeside dining room with a panoramic view. You have to choose from 1 of 2 service shifts: 7 or 8:45am. Recommend the later one unless you want to "fight" with the massive crowd in the 7am service. Food selection and quality are wonderful, with both chinese and western options.
Our stay included some coupons for various recreational activities to include a free one-hour rental of regular/electric bicycles, which we gladly took advantage of. On departure, the concierge was very helpful in arranging for a taxi to the Shuishe bus stop for our bus ride back to Taichung."
"I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The room was very nice and kept impeccably clean. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything I needed.
I also enjoyed the food, which was delicious. A real highlight was the live singer in the evenings; their performance was excellent and added a great atmosphere to the experience. I am already looking forward to my next visit!"
"Due to the upcoming rain season, the water level was lower than the usual by the hotel which is a little disappointing.
However, the breakfast team manager went extra miles to have a vegan dish for my guest. This is much appreciated. "

"The location is perfectly at the most convenient place in the cross road of 2 main streets. It is about 2-3 minutes walk with baggaes from the bus station. Walking distance to many stores, including 7-11, starbucks, boat ticket sale booth, bike rental shops etc., and also clost to the boat docks. Breakfast is excellent, too."
