"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the rooms were very quiet. The staff was very helpful and kind. The pool was warm and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend to anyone to stay here."
"The room was nice but they informed us that since we were staying more than three days which we were(3 nights 4 days) that they would not be cleaning the room for 3 days. We were able to have them change the sheets daily which was nice. We aren’t slabs so it was not a big deal. The staff was very nice and accommodating for any and everything that we needed, including The fact that we needed a fan to blow the cold air from the back room to the front room because there is no vent or ventilation in the front room at all, even though there is a thermostat in the front room. It doesn’t do anything, nor is there any air moving at all in the front room. That’s the only negative of the whole day. It was great. We had a good time."
"Maria at the front desk welcomed us warming upon arrival and was very helpful throughout the stay. Staff warm and pleasant at all times. During daily breakfast lovely woman (I'm sorry I didn't get a name) made sure to let us know if we needed anything that we didn't have at the buffet breakfast. Room clean, staff warm and welcoming, breakfast yummy daily, parking a breeze. Would like water pressure in shower to have been a bit greater but other than that the stay was lovely as we were in for a wedding. Would recommend."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Chicago Naperville
8/10 Good
"We stayed here for nearly a week and overall had a positive experience.
Before arriving, I called to request a late check-in, and the staff were very accommodating. The employees who checked us in were friendly, patient, and welcoming, and every front desk employee we interacted with throughout our stay was kind and helpful.
One of the highlights was the complimentary breakfast. Food was consistently replenished, and there was enough variety that we weren't eating the same thing every morning. The hotel also offered complimentary coffee and water in the lobby, a guest microwave, a gym, pool, small market, and ice machines on every floor.
The biggest drawback was housekeeping. Our room wasn't cleaned for the first several days, and we eventually had to request service. The front desk explained that our room somehow wasn't on the cleaning schedule. Housekeeping also seemed rushed at times, but when we raised concerns, the front desk addressed them immediately and the housekeeper who ultimately helped us was very kind and thorough.
Other minor issues included a refrigerator that repeatedly shut off, requiring us to monitor it to keep food cold, and rooms that felt smaller than expected. Our curtain had a small tear, but it didn't affect our stay.
Toward the end of our visit, hallway wallpaper renovations outside our room were somewhat disruptive. A little advance notice would have been appreciated.
Overall, this hotel provided fair value for the price."
"The place was in the middle of a renovation. Luckily my room was updated. The problem I ran into though was I was told I would be getting a 2 queen room and I got a 2 doubles room instead. I even showed the manager and she agreed. Not sure if they had the wrong size mattresses delivered or what but a double felt so tiny when trying to share with someone. Otherwise though the hotel was decent, pool was nice, restaurant was decent."
