"This is the second time I’ve stayed at The Ivey’s. It’s such a beautiful hotel. I love everything about the decor. The staff are very helpful and personable. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and so very pretty. The only criticisms I have for my stay was the guest elevator was not working (it was out of order when I stayed several years ago as well), and the fragrance they use in the hallways is very strong. The location is convenient for walking to many nice restaurants nearby. "

"My stay was excellent from start to finish. The staff was amazing—especially Natalie at the front desk, who was extremely helpful, friendly, and welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service throughout the entire stay was outstanding. The restaurant food was absolutely delicious (kiss the chef!). Overall, a wonderful experience. "Very disappointing experience. At the time of check-in, I was informed at the last minute that the property was under renovation — no TV, no Wi-Fi, no breakfast, NO drinking water and unbelievably, not even basic toiletries! There was limited toilet paper, only two lamps were working, and there was a strong foul smell and constant noise outside the room, including dogs barking next door. To make things worse, I even spotted bugs on the bed. Absolutely horrible! My biggest question — why wasn’t...

"Everything about our stay at the Duke Mansion was wonderful. Talk about Southern hospitality! We felt welcomed with the spacious room, comfy bed, friendly staff and beautiful gardens. A plus was that we could easily walk to many different restaurants. I highly recommend staying here when traveling to Charlotte."

"Family Cabin #8 was exactly what we needed for a relaxing stay on Lake Wiley! The “tiny” cabin was snug but perfectly cute and cozy, and the view from our bed was everything you could want on an Autumn day or night! The grounds were homey & picturesque, with natural beauty everywhere you turned! Management was friendly, helpful, and very responsive, even outside of office hours! We will certainly be back!"
