This property has easy access to a range of amenities, including fine pubs and restaurants for some traditional Yorkshire food, shops and a Wednesday market. The attractive old market town of Kirkbymoorside lies on the edge of the majestic North York Moors National Park, in between the towns of Helmsley (6 miles) and Pickering (7 miles). The excellent walking and magnificent scenery of the national park are close by, as are the picturesque villages of Hutton-le-Hole (3.5 miles) and Lastingham (6 miles). Pickering is the base of the North York Moors Steam Railway - a great day out for all visitors to the area. Castle Howard (12 miles) and the Yorkshire Coast (25 miles) are within easy driving distance, too.

Make your way up the garden path and step inside this very welcoming cottage, offering a thoughtfully designed interior and homely touches to make your stay comfortable. The spacious kitchen is bright and accommodates a dining table where you can enjoy mealtimes together and is generously equipped to make cooking a breeze. Discover a cosy snug, should you want to have a quiet moment to read a book or plan your travels, or get comfy in the stylish lounge; sit back on the comfy sofas and pick a film to watch on the Smart TV, warmed by the wood burner-effect electric fire. Upstairs, are two lovely bedrooms where you are sure of a good night's rest: a king-size room and a twin room. Start the day with a refreshing shower or at the end of the day, take a nice long bath after a long day exploring the lovely countryside.

Step out to the enclosed garden where children can run off some more energy on the lawn. Enjoy breakfast at the bistro table or perhaps light up a BBQ on the stand provided. There is a handy shed where you can store your bikes and a dog room which is perfect if your pup comes back a bit wet and muddy after a ramble.
