When one thinks of Japan, we often think of the big city scenes of Tokyo. Our stay in Northern Japan has shown me how much more Japan has to offer. I will always treasure my time spent in the countryside of this beautiful nation. #goldenhour

While driving along the coast of the Shimokita Peninsula we caught a beautiful sunset over the Mutsu Bay. Northern Japan is often ignored in the guidebooks, but the natural beauty it offers is not to be missed. Take the Shinkansen from Tokyo up to Aomori and from there the local trains and buses will do the rest. #goldenhour
