My family and I enjoyed our stay at The Sands immensely.The staff was good ,friendly at all times.The rooms were clean and well kept.The bar supplied us with endless drinks .and if asked brought more food on the a la carte menu.Breakfast was varied each day.Loved that their sister hotel Mango Bay was available on notice to visit and enjoy their facilities all inclusive with delicious food and the sea was very calm.Also enjoyed the food and lovely ambience at the Sands restaurant Noir. All in all it was good value for money.Public Transportation was easy as fares were standardised .Lovely island .friendly faces and it's people. Thanks for a lovely stay.

We didn’t receive the room in the picture for the rooms we booked. Complained about it for days. Then showed pictures of the rooms we booked online and then they moved us to the right type of rooms but the rom still didn’t have anything it said in the description. Like the minibar in the rooms which is essential in an all inclusive

The lady waiters some of them bad attitude they show discomfort when ask to bring desserts, water etc front desk very helpful one of the lady’s at the pool bar at night was not nice at all the young guy that helps with the luggage very nice well educated I want to thank the lady that looks like is the manager at the Noir restaurant she let us have dinner Friday night very nice women the guy at he barbecue and the skinny guy at the bar very nice people

Very nice Resort, Very clean, Delicious 3 course meals. The Staff were very friendly, always eager to help and tried to make sure everything was good. The Beach was washed, lots of Sargassum, but only happens about once a year. No fault of theirs. They set up chairs and umbrellas for us every day. We will definitely return.

Staff was nice and attentive. Food is pretty good, normal for an all inclusive. Would recommend meals off-premise too just to change it up. Pool and beach are outstanding, but they should do a better job with guests 'reserving' pool beds and hardly ever being there. They need more beds around the pool. Check-in was a little tricky, but they do provide amenity usage and drinks/snacks if you're early. I'd go back, but its a 4 not a 5 star experience. Still very good value considering. The location is excellent, just a short walk to the Gap & Dover

The room was amazing! The staff were very polite, helpful and accommodating. The best part of our stay, was how well my food allergies were accommodated - the chefs were very considerate and I did not have any issues of reactions. I appreciate the time they took to ensure all of my meals and snacks were safe for me to eat.

The hotel property is kinda small but the rooms are big. I love the rooms. Its very spacious and it has kitchenette, living room & dining like an apartment. The beach is amazing... a but small but beautiful white sand and clear turquoise water. Swimming pool is a bit small though. Not much food selection but it is tasty. Just wish they have more fruits. And I hope they would hire more friendly and approachable staff, specially the waitresses.

The staff at the sands were excellent, from Monika and the guys at the Front desk to Tracia Ann and Onisha in F&B. The girls and Dwayne in the bar made our experience in Barbados much more comfortable. Our rooms were well kept and the food was good. Noir on the roof top gets an A . Thank you for a wonderful service and we will definitely be back.

Unfortunately, the beach was unusable due to the amount of seaweed. We recognize that this is not the property’s fault and they rectified the problem by transferring us to their sister hotel for the day (Mango Bay) which was absolutely beautiful. We are thrilled that we were able to enjoy some beach time during our stay. Weather was perfect - would come back again!

We had a wonderful time; the staff were very friendly. Chad at guest services was very helpful in assisting with our tours; Cerylene and Lawrence in the restaurant were very friend along with the other staff. We had a 2 bedroom suite, nice loft style, but the bed was not too comfortable. I think the activities, especially the live night shows needs more variety or mixture. Almost every night was on the slow side.

Liked: Beautiful setting and grounds and beach within a few steps. Staff was friendly, positive, and accommodating. My family suite's balcony had a perfect view of the pool and beach in the distance. Disliked: Living room area was not air conditioned (although this was made clear in description of the hotel). Air condition was only in the two bedrooms. My son was hot sleeping in the bed placed in the living room next to a floor fan. Family of 5.
