"Kelvin is a welcoming host and Breezy Vista is an economical spot to use as a base to travel the island. The apartment was spacious and clean and the outdoor patio was lovely in the evening. We found the mattress a little soft, though many may enjoy that. The AC was powerful, but barely needed with the cool evening winds. Kelvin was communicative and helpful. "

"I'm so glad I stayed at Marcia's apartment. It's a very welcoming place with all the amenities, and Marcia helped me throughout my stay. She was very attentive and caring. "Great communication with the host. Nicole ensured that we will get to the property by offering a taxi service which was very convenient as we flew in after midnight. "The living room was fantastic, and I especially appreciated having a PlayStation available. It gave us a great way to wind down after long days of walking and enjoying amazing food. "Walking into this beautiful establishment, we are greeted with warm and welcoming smiles also scented towels to cool us down. From there on, everyone is helpful and so supportive throughout the stay. Make sure to book reservations for the restaurants before you arrive because the food is EXCELLENT! From breakfast to dinner, the food is well seasoned and delectable. All the employees from the managers, severs, housekeeping, bartenders, activities, everyone we encountered throughout our stay made it worthwhile! Make sure to bring shoes that have grips due to the condensation on the floors. Plan the excursions ahead of time. Also make sure to have cash in small amounts. Some places don't have USD as cash back. Barbados was magical and can't wait to come back again, especially to the Wyndham Grand Sam Lords Castle hotel."

"Very comfortable stay, very spacious room with all basic amenities. Room had two single beds, although I traveled alone, there was enough sleeping space for three persons, but I dont know what the hotels rules are as to persons per room, Cooking area was equipped with utensils to cook a complete meal, kitchen has basic household utensils, stove fridge toaster microwave kettle , the apt was clean, and cleaned daily, lovely pool, in the middle of the property, ideal for vacation getaway, supermarket within walking distance, beach also in walking distance. Local bus readily available. Just the perfect place to stay."

"Absolutely lovely stay at Sugar Bay. I wouldn’t consider it a high end hotel, but for the money I think it more than delivers. Everything felt very clean, staff were friendly, and food was better than many all inclusive. It is on the smaller side, which has pros and cons. Realistically, it is one pool you can swim in. The other was very small, tucked away and not used. The staff, while great, don’t do service on beach which I often think is nice to have. The water sports are nice. Beach was beautiful. Didn’t want to leave!!"

"We just returned from a week at Turtle Beach. It is a beautiful resort but if you’re a beach person, it’s not for you. While it’s listed as on the Caribbean, it’s actually more on the Atlantic side and the beach water is always rough. We did not have one day when we could go out in the water. We went to the sister resort one day which had the beautiful Caribbean beach and water. However, taxi fare was $80 roundtrip to get there. The only other negatives are they don’t restock your fridge in your room except with water, room service incurs a $15 delivery fee every time you use it and entertainment is lacking. The good news is it is a beautiful resort, pools are beautiful, rooms are beautiful, great a/c, food is average for all inclusive but the best part is the staff, especially Winston. All of the staff went above and beyond to take care of us. They even went and got us distilled water for our breathing machines. If you don’t care about the beach, this is a great resort."

"Hotel was pretty decent. Clean and maintained well. There was so much seaweed on the beach and in the water we could not swim there. That was a big bummer. We had to take the bus every day to go to Savy on the bay. That was our favorite spot. Food was delicious but very expensive. Bar area was very nice. Location was good. Close to restaurants and shops. Pool was so small that was a bummer too since we couldn’t swim in the sea would have been nice to use the pool. Hardly anyone was in it. Staff was absolutely fantastic. So helpful with everything we needed. Thank you Norissa for all your help."
