"The hotel is very well-situated close to the main Oxford campus and adjoining commercial district. However, it has enough distance so that it feels less crowded. There is also a wonderful shopping mall area within a few minutes walk that has tons of great restaurants across a wide variety of price points. There was construction noise for this very new hotel all three afternoons so it made resting difficult. The manager Christina apologized for this inconvenience. Overall it was a very good breakfast and hotel experience."

"Good amount of parking although either a trek to reception or the room as the equidistant spaces were all full. Check in felt convoluted and confused - eg the payment and whether breakfast was included or not. It was a bit of a faff getting to reception as we were not allowed through the normal entrance owing to a wedding and so had to enter through a side entrance - all quite bizarre. The bar was excellent as was the outdoor areas. The rooms were fairly compact but clean and well appointed - it was a hot day and the small fan didn’t do much to help so was stifling hot in the room - only one window could be opened fully. The Italian gardens was nice albeit a bit tatty in places - a couple of days of maintenance would sort that out easily enough. Overall decent stay and just about worth the money, but some room to sharpen up."

"Couldn’t fault the room I stayed in , however a family member also stayed and she didn’t have a/c in her room and was given a fan , apparently not all the rooms have a/c. On check out , there was only one man on reception and it took 40 mins to check out. My refund still hasn’t gone back onto my card for the £50 holding fee, waiting 2 weeks after. Bar staff were very slow and didn’t seem to know what was going on and also ran out of paper in the machine multiple times which caused further delays."

"Checking prompt and efficient. The room, although small was ok for our stay. Loved the White Company products in the bathroom. Tea/coffee in the room was a bonus. Iron and ironing board useful too. Breakfast was great from cereal, yoghurts, fruit juices, sausage, bacon, beans, mushrooms, fried, poached & scrambled eggs and omelettes to order, Danish pasties and coffee station highly recommend. The car park was also free for hotel guests."
