"The same thing I dont like everytime at this hotel is also the only thing I ever have to complain about @ The Gateway Inn... & thats when I have to leave. (Sad Face) I just love this place, the staff are so wonderful & are always happy to go the extra mile yet so modestly & kindly make you feel like nothing is a bother or too much to accomodate in their efforts to show that you're valued as a customer & feel welcomed like a family friend. The vibe is like a big safe warm hug. The rooms provided are generous in space, ameneties are varied & top notch & the customer service extended is of international standards. And No I wasn't promised anything to say all these great things about the Gateway, but Ive tried the rest & dont even have to guess you'll be impressed- by the Best Hotel in town!!"

"Really enjoyed our stay. Simple room but functional and clean. The outdoor area was perfect on sunset. The ducks were also amusing. Would definitely stay again."

"This is an amazing spot for families. Walking distance to everything, amazing amenities and so close to the water at Shoal Bay which is stunning. It can be pricey so keep an eye out for deals. It's also close to pubs and restaurants so if you like a quite area with no noise this may not be the spot for you. For us it was perfect."

"Property close to both bowling and golf clubs, and easy walk to town centre and waterfront. Plenty of parking and a lot of undercover parks. Good view from balcony. Downside was no hanging space for clothes, no exhaust fan in bathroom, no toilet brush. Overall, excellent value for money"
