"Have been to Woolacombe many times and this was the best property we have stayed in. Comfy bed, good quality furnishings and great location within the village
Only thing I was say is we used the washing machine and then couldn’t find a clothes dryer …. Maybe it’s there somewhere but we couldn’t find one "

"The cottage was very tired. Furniture uncomfortable and quite dirty.
Shower room floor needed a good clean.
Bed was comfortable and clean. Cottage lacked in some utensils including no wardrobe. Very disappointed

"This is a nice property that's had love and care poured into restoring it. The property is however over-marketed (and over-priced) in our opinion.
Expedia market as a 'cottage' and the pin shows a central Woolacombe location. Its actually in a holiday/residential park above Woolacombe. The park its in has a run down feel to it and the first impression was of deep disappointment. Once you've moved in then its a lovely property on the inside. The garden is communal - there is no division...

"We had a wonderful stay over Christmas at Thimble Cottage. A great spot for visiting Hartland Quay and Point then onto Clovelly Village. The cottage is well equipped and the bedroom has a comfy super king size bed. We will definitely return for another break here :)"

"This was ideal for me. I loved it here. It was really peaceful. I couldn't hear a thing apart from the birds and the occasional sheep. I stayed for 4 days and I wished it could have been longer. There is no TV in the hut which also suits me to the ground. The wi-fi is excellent so if you do want to watch something on an I pad or tablet you will have no problem with the reception.
There was a nice touch with tea making facilities and scones provided for the 4 days that I was there.

"The Sawmill was recommended to us by a friend who stayed last year. We arrived to a warm welcome, by the manager, Ryan. The room was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed, (Water, tea, coffee etc, and hairdryer.
As we had driven from Poole, we wanted to eat in. The fire is brilliant, the staff friendly, and the food worthy of 5 stars.
There was real ale, and lovely melot wine.
BReakfast was huge, and filling, all cooked fresh. We would recommend it to anyone."

"What an amazing stay, this is a beautifully kept property, with nice beach views and the host provided outstanding welcome gifts (wine, chocolates, pastries) and was very responsive.I look forward to visiting again. "
"I was a guest at The Mole checking out on Monday, 2 February. When I returned home I realised that I had misplaced my stainless steel Rolex.
I spoke that evening to Steve Parfitt on reception who immediately checked the pool locker and kindly called me back to inform me that he had found it. Steve offered to meet me at the railway station some 15 miles away and I took the train down, and he was able to return my watch to me in person.
This watch holds particular sentimental value, as my two brothers and I all own the same model. I am therefore extremely grateful for Steve’s honesty, efficiency, and kindness.
I would like to commend The Mole Resort for employing such a trustworthy and dedicated member of staff. Steve Parfitt is truly a credit their organisation, and they and the guests are very fortunate to have someone of his calibre on their team. This reflects very well on the Mole resort.
I would just like to add the the pool and sauna facilities of "The Mole" are outstanding - as are their honest efficient staff.
