"Absolutely love this place! Woodsy Retreat is much much more than just a retreat. It is a place of respite and refuge! My wife and I came back again in less than one year for another stay because of how special this place is. The level of hospitality shown by the hosts is unrivaled and unparalleled by any other vacation rental that we have stayed. We never left once during our stay and didn’t need to because of all the amenities, snacks and an astonishing coffee/tea bar. The intentionality in there hospitality was very unique and specific to our individual wants/likes such as “what drinks do you prefer?” Who does that! Private hot tub in a rainforest, fireplace, pool table, crisp and clean down feather comforters that make you sleep like a baby…. If you want a break from the world this is the place. Our hearts are full and spirits renewed . Looking forward to next time already. Wish I could rate more than 5 stars"

"We had a wonderful stay. The house is nicely updated and the kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. Unbeatable gorgeous views of the sound and easy to get to downtown Olympia from the house. We would definitely stay there again."

"Cabin was clean, very private and had a beautiful view. Kitchen was fully stocked which was appreciated and allowed us to have more meals in. Kayaking was lovely and the access to beach was easy, despite a bit of a steep staircase. Bed was comfortable and cabin warmed easily with the heaters. The host was very responsive and helpful. Would stay again! "

"Just as beautiful as all the pics ! The location was perfect, right next to the state park. The cottage was perfect, extremely clean and well stocked with anything we may need. The breakfast items, also above & beyond and owners Barbara and Dick were wonderful hosts. 10 out of 10 ratings are well deserved. Lucky we found this spot for our getaway. We had a wonderful weekend. Thanks!"

"Nice and private property. It is an classic house with the usual issues of an old house. Overall a nice stay. We had dogs with us and the fenced in front yard was very convenient. Our beagle fell into the small pond. It is covered in growth and he didn't know it was not lawn. The fence does have some openings that a small dog could potential get through. Not an issue for us. We didn't use the hot tube. I would recommend for adults and older kids."
