"The fact that 1 dog was welcome is the primary reason I chose this location. Another reason was the proximity to an event I was attending. The location is in a very undeveloped area, but the camp is fairly close to a road as the bird flies, high above and visually removed from it. Noise from the road was not any problem, and good roads nearby was a plus. The owner has a house on the road into the camp, well separated from camp. I liked this, they didn't bother me, and nice to have help nearby.The...

"This was an inexpensive tiny lil place to lay our heads down for a night and we appreciated having this place to do just that! There were three of us, and it fit us just fine- one double bed for my hubby & I and one twin bed for our daughter in which both were clean and comfortable. (Had blackout curtains so no light shone through which was good!) Not much room for luggage (nor was there a luggage rack)but one suitcase fit under the twin bed so that worked out well. This isn’t a place to hang...

"Host is amazing! Room was clean as well as bathroom. 10/10 would stay again."

"Julie and her husband went out of their way to make the stay personable and accommodating as possible. Room was clean with everything you would need for the stay. I am already making plans to return to the area and staying right here. Close to town(13 minute walk), great places to dine or check out the beach area. I can’t even think of one negative for a balanced review. This was affordable and very well located."

"The property we stayed at was cozy for four and we brought a lot more supplies than one would expect. The host accommodated us and did everything to make sure we had a great stay. She made it an amazing vacation and made sure all of our issues were taken care of! Communication was cordial and timely, and the host and her family were super kind to us and gave us several recommendations for local activities. 10/10 experience!"

"The room was clean and in a great location for Schroon Lake and also if you are hiking the High Peaks. Host was consistently in communication and made the check-in smooth."

"The property was nicely decorated and very clean. Also nicely located on the water. The owners communicated well and seemed friendly in their messages. Two things would make the property better - bug screens on more windows so they can be left open and light blocking blinds in one of the bedrooms. Main issue is the unfortunate fact the train track is close and I woke up twice from trains passing in the middle of the night."

"Great room, very clean and cozy."
