"The room itself was decent and had everything I needed, but the atmosphere felt off, a faint stale smell, like it hadn’t been opened up for a while. The real shocker, though, was the enormous mural of a man’s face directly opposite the bed. It’s so big that when I woke up in the middle of the night, I genuinely jumped. It felt uncomfortable having it stare right at me. Other details like the amenities and Wi‑Fi were fine, but that mural definitely stole the show for all the wrong reasons."

"Host there to welcome us when we arrived. He helped to carry in the luggage and showed us how the hot water and heating worked. Amenities were ideal with breakfast food items included plus a bottle of Prosecco and shortbread as a thoughtful Christmas gift. The property had been decorated for Christmas - another kind and thoughtful touch. The property was spotlessly clean and had everything that we needed. The bed was extremely comfortable. "we just needed somewhere to stay for 1 night and it meant those needs.It is obviously just a business as it lacks any homely feel to it- very basic, lacking in comfort and little effort made to make the guests feel that any additional efforts have been made.the dirty tissue left on the dining chair did not help assure us that it had been cleaned properly… "

"The place was extremely smelly. Very very bad odor. The beds sheets were not clean. Kitchen was dusty. Seems it wasn't used for a while. There were not enough towels."
