"Room was big enough for our family of four and did not feel crowded. AC worked okay due to only blowing cool air and the room feeling muggy/damp you could feel it on your skin getting sticky as if sweating. But after driving 13 hours and with two infants being fussy from being their car seat, we just wanted somewhere to sleep. So if it’s for a few hours of rest after a long drive and a cheap stay, I’d definitely book again but for a long weekend family stay I would not stay here. "

"We literally just needed a place to sleep and shower during a recent birdwatching trip. The person checking us in was on the phone through the process and didn't end his personal call. The room was grimy and dusty and the towels were stained. There were cockroaches. My expectations were low but they were not met. Would not stay again."

"The elevators were broken and had been according to another guest. We had to go down a grungy hallway to use the service elevator. Did not always feel safe. I thought maybe there would be a reduced rate to everyone. I was there for a 60th class reunion - so a bunch of old people, and we had used this hotel several times in the past. The room I reserved - a cabana - was not available because of construction. Was not told this when I made the reservation. Sorry I can’t give a better report this time."

"The first room we were assigned to was next to a long term resident who had cats living in their room. I saw a cat in their window and the litter outside — which is fine — except our room next door smelled so strongly of cat droppings and litter that it was nauseating. I asked for our room to be moved and I was accommodated, but the next room we were assigned to had a different, yet strong, odor, and was dilapidated. The room looked next to nothing like the photos, except for the orange wall. It was dirty, there were cigarette burns in the quilt, there were black and brown scrapes and scratches all over the walls and floors, splatters by the trash can, bugs in the corner of the ceiling, and the bathroom mirror was coming apart. We decided to cut our losses and check into a different hotel that same day. I am very, very confused as to why anyone would rate this hotel anything more than one star. I would like to add I am an extremely go-with-the-flow person and I never cause a ruckus. I knew it was a motel 6, I was not expecting luxury, but I was expecting what was in the photos, and this was not it. If you are thinking of staying here for the cheap price, I highly recommend splurging an extra couple dollars to stay at any other hotel. "

"Had issues w/ tv not working, there was no cable box. Staff was gracious, she gave us another room immediately. Overall: clean room, polite staff. The elevator did not work a few times which was no fun as we are seniors and we were on the 3rd floor. The woman who helps a/ breakfast and cleans the main entry area was such a lovely lady-she’s a great asset to your hotel."
