Amenities were available for anything I needed, there was some mildew in our shower that was evident on the wall of our shower that needed cleaned off, i was not a fan of the shower mat in the shower either. I am unsure if that’s something newer the hotel is doing, but I was not a fan, but overall ...

General Denver Hotel
Yes, all was fine except it's an old hotel and so is the plumbing. Shower water was very sporadic hot and cold, faucet dropped scalding hot. Probably won't return for that reason.

Cowan Lake Retreat is the perfect getaway for the nature lover or just to relax.
A lovely cozy cabin! Host was very responsive to our questions on operating gas fireplaces. Clean and comfortable! Enjoyed the woods/lake setting and quiet atmosphere. A bit chilly to hang out on the deck, but a great set-up for warmer days. Would definitely stay again!
