"Had really enjoyable stay with my family . Clean , pleasant breakfast. Clean hotel . Easy parking space for our car for few days (for free) just under 4min walk to hotel from parking space . We used bus everyday to explore Amsterdam . It cost around £5.50 one way to Amsterdam. Took just under 30min .van pay my card on the bus . Recommend visiting Edam’s cheese museum , local villages ."

"A lovely hotel. The room was excellent and the on-site restaurant (not owned by the hotel) was equally excellent. I would have given it 5 stars but for the fact it was difficult to find anywhere to hand up our clothes after a very wet journey, there wasn't a grab handle in the shower (which I need) and as the hotel is encased in a large church and there was no external branding, we couldn't find it though it was right under our noses!"

"Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Callantsoog. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber, gut aufgeteilt und die Lage inStrandnähe hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Auch Wein und Süßigkeiten sowie Kaffeepröbchen standen zur Begrüßung bereit. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und diskret. Alles liegt gut erreichbar. Allein die Strandbude war eher mittelmäßig und das Restaurant "de Prince Keet" fanden wir unverschämt. Dafür kann die Unterkunft aber nichts.Wir kommen bestimmt wieder, wenn wir dürfen. Alles in allem: Eine perfekte Urlaubswoche! Herzliche Grüße aus Wuppertal und vielen Dank"

"Staying at this hotel was an incredible and unique experience! The way the old prison has been transformed into a modern hotel is absolutely brilliant. The historic atmosphere is preserved perfectly, and the clean rooms are very comfortable. The staff is clearly understaffed and overwhelmed with duties, but they work incredibly hard and do their absolute best to keep the atmosphere and everything else perfect. Both the breakfast and parking options were excellent. Highly recommended!"
