"Unexpectedly an excellent nights sleep for a young family. It’s not a luxury hotel, but it was clean, well maintained, had very welcoming staff & Yorkshire tea in the rooms. The curtains were heavy black out, the windows kept the noise out, the mattress felt new and supportive & a fan was provided for the heat. My child slept & wasn’t woken up by daylight, traffic noise, the stifling heat or worries about cleanliness. Plus they could have a bath. Win."

"Spacious rooms with comfortable furnishings. In need of bringing up to date with items such as charging for mobile phones etc. Meal choice limited in the restuarant but breakfast was good."

"Overall a good stay. Our room didn’t have air con, so very warm, and the toilet seat needed replacing. Not sure if there is a limit regarding the amount of people who use the spa, but it was very busy the day we visited."
