"We had a fortnight's lovely holiday here - I thought the cottage was well-equipped with what we needed. The pool was really nice and the pool sessions for our household worked well. The grounds are large and beautiful. We took bikes too and whilst I wouldn't want to take the kids on bikes on the country roads surrounding it, there was plenty of space for cycling round the grounds themselves - we cycled to the lake and did some pond dipping. "We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
