"We had a fortnight's lovely holiday here - I thought the cottage was well-equipped with what we needed. The pool was really nice and the pool sessions for our household worked well. The grounds are large and beautiful. We took bikes too and whilst I wouldn't want to take the kids on bikes on the country roads surrounding it, there was plenty of space for cycling round the grounds themselves - we cycled to the lake and did some pond dipping. "The owners were so nice and if you like long walks, swimming, greenery and in need of relaxing then this is defo for you. We had 2 dogs with us and Rob/ Chris left them some biscuits too! All clean and you get what you see. Many thanks to Rob and his lovely family :)"

"We had a lovely stay at Kingfisher cottage. The grounds of Maesgwynne Mansions (on which this small courtyard of cottages is situated) are lovely; this time of year flowering rhododendrons are a highlight, and a walk around took us past the fishing lake and neighbouring fields with various farm animals. There are fabulous views, and the outdoor swimming pool had a cover enabling us to use it even in early May. very peaceful & highly recommended."
