Cabin on the Rio Grande River With Private Fishing Right Outside Your Door!

"I was looking for a getaway for a long weekend. The Nest fit the bill. Well appointed inside with everything I needed, and the wood burning stove was fun. And the quilts were awesome for sleeping on a cool night. The bathhouse was interesting because it is a short walk from The Nest, but it provides your own well-stocked, clean bathroom. The shower was a little tight but workable and with plenty of hot water. The big surprise: I walked onto my front porch one evening to be greeted by an awesome starfield and a great view of the MILKY WAY!! I just sat out there and gazed.And Shirrae is awesome even suggesting trails and fishing spots. What a wonderful weekend I had."

"This place is super secluded and a beautiful setting, hot tub and sauna are awesome. As others have expressed it does feel overpriced for the quality of the home…furniture could be updated, patio chairs not comfortable, no curtains in the main bedroom, for the lady’s no counter space in the bathrooms or even a decent mirror. It is a nice home just not priced accordingly in my opinion to its current setup. We would return again but at a different price point. Nothing was so bad we wanted to leave or not return. Thanks for allowing us to stay."

"Great place to stay steps away from downtown Creede. Had a litttle trouble getting in on the first day, but when I contacted the host they handled it right away and was very friendly. We also needed an Alan wrench to adjust my daughter’s wheelchair and didn’t have one. I contacted the host to ask if here was one in the house. There wasn’t but she had the maintenance guy stop by with his tools and we got it fixed. He was also very nice and even left the set of Alan wrenches in case we needed them again during our stay. The house was great as well with plenty of room for multiple family members. We would definitely recommend this location to other travelers."

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Could not be any happier with our experience in Creede co! The rental overlooked the mountains that made Creede among the most famous mining towns in Colorado, at the end of the road, completely private with spectacular views.The accommodation was cozy with first class amenities!"
