"The room was clean, and all amenities were in place!"

"The hotel was beautifully kept in the period it was built while converting to its current use. The property was very clean and maintained and the staff were very engaging and friendly. The breakfast was good as well. My only grip and this could be personal but the mattress was very soft and a little uncomfortable.... I hate to even write the last part because everything else was so good."

"I realized they gave me a master key when I entered the wrong room. I immediately went to the front desk. They were aware they gave me a key that allowed me to enter all the rooms in the hotel. They told me just use it for my room and not enter any other rooms. The next morning, I told the front desk about the master key since there were different staff at the desk. Again I was told that they were aware. That it was just like the key the cleaning staff used. They said that the maintenance person wasn’t in and that was the only way I could enter my room. They did not appear to be fully booked. Not sure why they didn’t move me to another room. The sliding barn style door for the bathroom wasn’t able to be opened from inside the bathroom when fully shut. We got stuck inside and had to be rescued. Thankfully I was not traveling alone and someone was in the room to get me out. The elevator had a delay in the door opening. One of the hotel staff was in the elevator with us and said it happens all the time. That occasionally they get stuck in it for several minutes until it decides to open. I will never stay at this hotel again."

Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbus at Northlake by IHG

"Bed was more comfortable than other hotels but still not the best. To be expected. The room smelled VERY strongly of chemical cleaner, possibly carpet cleaner. We managed but it was really strong everywhere in the room and other places of the hotel. The sheets for the sofa bed were dirty in the closet but staff provided another set. Staff in general was nice and responsive when engaged. Breakfast last day there were several things missing or not being restocked which was disappointing. No staff was anywhere to be found to seek help. Coffee is above average for hotel quality. Breakfast is to be expected, not great but edible."

Hampton Inn & Suites Lanett-West Point

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean and well stocked for our stay. The staff was very accommodating and friendly during check-in and check-out. The hotel has plenty of parking, is easily accessible, and only a few blocks from Interstate 85. I was looking forward to some biscuits and gravy for breakfast but this item was not on the bar. Maybe they rotate the menu and I just missed it. Over all a very present stay and I would recommend anyone staying there."
