Great month

Weather and house were perfect. Comfortable seating areas inside and out. Clean bathrooms and house. Maid service when we needed it. Safe neighborhood. Near the inter coastal and shopping for food etc. Neighbors were quiet. AC was great as were kitchen appliances and washer dryer. Great fenced yard for our dogs who had a ball chasing lizards! Great private guest house with its own bathroom, praised by all guests who used it. Host was always responsive if we couldn’t operate ice maker or AC/ Fan or whatever issue arose, though there weren’t many! Missing it already!

Love the house

It was our second stay. House was clean. Pool heated. Hosts extremely generous and accommodating.

The good, the bad....

The owners were responsive and helpful. When I texted with a question they got back to me promptly. I appreciated having some basic cooking ingredients in the kitchen like spices and olive oil. In the bathrooms there was plenty of soap, hair products etc. The house was very well stocked. The king bed was very comfortable. However the couple that stayed in the cottage said the bed had a dip in the middle of the mattress. The AC and wi-fi worked well. However.....the house interior and back yard area are due for a thorough refresh. Things are a bit rundown like rusting and fraying patio furniture, a broken pool skimmer, peeling paint, dead potted plants. The washer /dryer is rusting and has grime built up under the lid. The lint trap isn't working and lint is filling the interior. The main bathroom has no exhaust fan and there is mildew bubbling on the walls and ceiling which has been painted over. Mildew is growing in the shower. The living room ceiling also has some painted-over mold growing near the vent. The house smells very musty. The fridge is clean and spacious, but isn't working evenly. We stored Topo Chico waters toward the back and overnight two of them froze and exploded - broken glass went throughout the fridge and picking it out caused some minor cuts. The neighborhood and location is nice and the home has potential, but it needs attention. If we had known the true state of the house we would not have rented it.

Needs some TLC - has great potential.

We recently stayed at this property, and while we enjoyed our time overall, there are several issues that need to be addressed. The house has a lot of potential, but it is in serious need of TLC. The pictures are very deceiving, as the reality doesn't match up. We noticed peeling walls, rusted hardware, and broken doors. The lanai area has major leak issues that became apparent when it rained, and the pavers by the pool are lifted, creating a tripping hazard. There was also no hot water during our stay. To make matters worse, the beds had broken springs, resulting in a horrible night's sleep. Unfortunately, with all these issues, I would not recommend this stay at this time. With some necessary repairs and maintenance, this place could be great, but in its current state, it’s really falling apart.

The Perfect Place in Old Norwood Historic Area

We are a family of seven/eight, so the rooms, plus separate cottage were perfect for us. The AC worked well in the boiling summer heat. The house is very secure. The kitchen is well equipped and includes coffee. The owners were generous with information and always responded quickly to inquiries. The location is a lovely older neighborhood with easy access to just about anywhere, and not far from the island or downtown. The pool is delightful, with lots of inflatables for kids and adults, too. Privacy is excellent, with little or no noise from neighbors. The cottage is great for the old folks (my wife and me) to sleep late and be in a quiet zone when desired. In fact, we liked the house much that we've reserved to stay again in Winter.

Most relaxing family “playcation” property.

Grampy and Grammy invited both daughters and their families for a 4 night WPB relaxing vacation and this home was perfect for us. The 4 bedrooms had comfortable beds, ceiling fans and lots of closet space. We enjoy preparing group meals; the kitchen was well equipped, the gas grill was great and the 2 dining options (indoor and out) had great ambiance. Our 14-month-old grandson and 2-year-old grand dog totally enjoyed the freedom of the fenced in back yard. We could relax when not using the pool because the safety pool fence adequately kept the baby from getting near the water. The pool was sparkling clean and a refreshing temperature. The backyard cottage bathroom was so convenient when sunning and swimming. Once the sun set the mosquitoes sent us all into the large couch lined “movie room” where we lounged together laughing about the day’s outdoor fun. Laura, the owner, was most responsive to all our questions and solved our issues immediately.

Excellent stay in West Palm

Loved this property. It was so convenient to the shops and restaurants of both Palm Beach and West Palm. Laura and Duane were extremely responsive to our every need. Can’t wait to return.

So much fun!

My family and I (adult children) spent Thanksgiving here. The space is perfect for families - two indoor sitting areas and plenty of outdoor space. When we arrived the housekeeper was finishing up and the pool was being cleaned. Everything was immaculate. We ate most dinners out but the kitchen was incredibly well appointed with glassware, pots and pans, plates etc. The pool was great and we used the floats that were there. Also used chairs and towels for the beach. (Loved that the beach towels were plentiful.) Quick Uber to restaurants and shopping. We had so much fun! Would highly recommend!

Cute place

Overall loved this property, great stay for a few couples. The listing said 3 king size beds when there was only one. Part of the reason we selected this listing was a space with multiple king size bed since we had all couples staying at the property. The backyard was great for entertainment of the group and overall very clean space.

Perfect girls weekend getaway !

My friends and I chose this property for a fun girls trip. It was perfect from start to finish. The house was immaculate ! Just the right size for our group. The beds and couches were very comfortable. It had a great beach house vibe. Our hosts made sure we had a good amount of toilet paper, cleaning supplies, detergents and even shampoos and body wash. The kitchen was just a perfect size for us. The pool house was adorable and so very clean. The pool area was a mini oasis. Plenty of outside seating areas. There were a bunch of new beach chairs and floats ! The pool was a perfect size for our group. We spent our days lounging by the pool enjoying the backyard ! Our hosts were very responsive to all our needs ! We highly recommend this home ! Thank you Laura and Alex !

West Palm getaway spot

We had a great stay at the PBC! It was a newer rental property so many items had that brand new feel to them. We spent a majority of our time relaxing outside by the pool. The guest house was great to have a little extra privacy and peace and quiet. There is only a cabinet in that guest house, no dresser or anywhere to hang up some clothing. The pool isn't heated, which you should know from reading the description, so don't be surprised. This isn't a complaint, we were aware, besides a cool pool feels good after some hot Florida sun! The night we checked in the main AC wasn't working. The hosts were very responsive and had workers there that night to get it back running again. The host even brought ingredients for Mimosas to make up for the inconvenience! Location is great, it's 10 minutes or less from the beach, downtown, or the outlet mall. I think it's even only 10 minutes from the airport! The trolley system looks nice, it's about a 12 minute walk to the nearest stop. We tried to take it but the trolley was over 5 minutes early and we missed it. Uber saves the day. We would definitely consider staying at this house again, you should too, you won't be disappointed!

This is the place to stay

Our multigenerational family from around the USA gathered for Thanksgiving. For many it was the first in person visit in almost 2 years. Laura’s house provided the space, elegance, coziness and amenities for everyone to have, “the best Thanksgiving anyone could remember.” We cooked, feasted, lounged (outside in the glorious backyard and inside the beautifully appointed red home). Everything we needed was at the house. In short, we loved the house , yard and location. Highly recommend this house and we will return! Laura was a dream to meet virtually and communicate with. Thanks a million Laura !

A quiet comfortable stay

Laura’s communication before and during our stay was superb, easily the best I’ve ever had in any of my stays. Honestly everything overall was outstanding. The neighborhood was nice and quiet, all the restrooms were stocked with supplies and the fridge had some stuff for us too. The rooms smelled great and were clean. Personally my favorite part was the guest room. If you’re someone like me who likes some privacy away from everyone it’s the perfect room to claim. I think the only thing I could point out (which is why I put a 4 star in this part) is that not all the furniture that you see in the pictures is what you will actually encounter. It didn’t affect the quality of my stay whatsoever. Thanks again for your hospitality!

Outstanding!!!!!

Highly highly recommend!!! The listing is what it says it is and more!!! All the beds were very comfy, all the TVs and WiFi worked, the pool and patio area are not only clean but had extra toys for the pool, but also chairs umbrellas for the beach!!! The house it self had extra supplies. The communication was outstanding!! We were a group of 5 adults and all of were over the top pleased!! Would definitely stay here again!!

Family FUN - Girls weekend -

We enjoyed the house, pool. Disappointed, that I thought there were TV's in all bedrooms, 1 did not. Supplies in house were very good. Cooler for beach, needs to be updated. Extra room, needs a bureau to store clothes, Overall nice home.

Mother Daughter trip

Nicely decorated home- with all the amenities you would want, helpful hosts that very responsive to a question on check in. A pretty pool area with plenty of outdoor seating. Very clean, well stocked. The neighborhood was nice with modest homes and great for biking.

Great stay!

Beautiful home, well stocked with standard items and extras too! Location was great! Homeowners provided bikes, pool and beach toys, chairs to use. We especially loved the kitchen, the sunroom, and the backyard pool area. Grilled out and had a great time. Homeowners were excellent to work with and very responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

Beautiful weekend getaway

Our family stayed here for my daughter’s 30th birthday celebration. Since COVID is inhibiting large parties, we chose this location for our more intimate weekend. It was perfect! The house is clean and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was a delight to cook in with all of its quality appliances and serving dishes. It was child and pet friendly which was fantastic for our group. The pool and all of the little sitting areas outside were beautiful and made our time there relaxing and enjoyable. Really cannot day enough good things about this property. The hosts were wonderful and accommodating! True treasure!

Family Getaway

Perfect week, Laura was great. Everything is as advertised. This house has everything you need, pictures and bio are accurate. We went to the beach everyday and returned home to a great outdoors area. Backyard is setup for relaxing. Cooked out each night as everyone else enjoyed relaxing. New Weber grill installed with natural gas. 7 adults, no one felt like they were on top of anyone else. I was truly pleased with everything. Everyone watched TV in the movie room, didn't ever use the other living room. Couch in movie room everyone loved. This place is amazing and everyone enjoyed our stay. Don't hesitate to book. You will be completely satisfied.
