"Absolutely lovely oasis of tranquility in the New Forest. We took our small dog and everything was catered for from bowls and towels in the room to a washing station and poo bags. Staff were amazing, busy but always helpful and chatty. Food was top notch, as were the cocktails and a lovely breakfast. Can’t fault it, oh and there was air con in the room……. Thank god!"

"The bunk bed room was perfect for our two younger kids. However, the lack of air conditioning made it difficult to sleep during our stay due to the heat. Once the weather cooled down at night, the large fan helped a lot. Parking was tight, and there are four EV chargers outside, although they are quite expensive at £0.98 per kWh. I booked a family room for five of us (3 kids) - which in itself is unusual to be able to fit 5 in one room! - when we were visiting Paulton Park. Hotel is right on the main road through Lyndhurst and it could be a problem to some people but we were fine with it. There were no charging points for iPhone/ipad which would have been useful but again not a big problem. Would happily go back for another stay."

Room smelt of dog after a while and the room needs a new lick of paint as does other areas .not a bad place just a little tlc needed .also breakfast couldn't see a price anywhere so didn't pre order one as you have to do that.
