Pousadas in West Coast

"Location is amazing. We were in a rainforest room on the hill side of the main road but had a sea view still. Room was very nice & large with deck. Underpass leads to restaurant & beach so easy to cross. The walk on the track to Pancakes Rocks is scenic and saves driving. Dinner (venison ribs) was very nice. Breakfast was reasonable but no egg person so just scrambled eggs on offer. Coffee was filter from machine only but was advised at check out that we could have ordered coffee (at additional cost) but no wait staff let us know during breakfast. At the level the hotel is at I would at least expect a more comprehensive coffee machine or 1 coffee as part of breakfast as is the norm on our travels. "

"Heartland Hotel was a great place to stay. I really liked the sliding entrance door to the room. The room was well laid out and had a fridge, kettle and variety of teas. Buffet breakfast had eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, and the usual continental food. The bed was also very comfortable."

"Very clean and well organised hostel. Secure and good rules in place which were respected. Mixed crowd so not entirely full of young backpackers and felt comfortable. Plenty of local parking. "
