"The staff were very friendly and helpful but overworked as unfortunately they were understaffed and thus the restaurant and bar areas are closed Mondays and Tuesdays right now. This made finding nearby meals those days other than a food truck difficult. There is a Foodland in nearby Northbrook.
The rooms were updated and clean with basic amenities and comfortable beds. Hopefully there are plans to updated the bar and restaurant too. Great location with Bon Echo only 8 minutes away and gas...

"Cabin was very clean . The furniture was old but in good condition. Kitchen only had one burner but plenty of pots/pans utensils etc. After busy day I would have appreciated somewhere to sit comfortably, the futon was okay. Beds were good and clean bedding.
The road was very busy and a bit weary crossing with children. The dock was fine and we caught fish!
Great location to Bon echo park. Stay was good for a couple of nights. Parking tight if you have a truck. "
