Als de deur open is en je wacht te lang, klinkt er een harde pieptoon. Dit alles gebeurt ook in de avond en nacht waardoor ik dit hotel echt niet kan aanraden als je rust opzoekt. "Het huisje ‘bosuil’ was goed in orde maar de weg ernaartoe was in heel slechte staat. Wij kwamen ’s’avonds in donker toe. Zandweg zonder enige verlichting. Nummer van huisje onduidelijk aangegeven. Parkeren bij huisje is op de weg. Inplanting huisjes nogal chaotisch. Ook veel te duur voor 1 nacht in vergelijking met een hotelkamer. Lakens waren wel voorzien maar geen opgemaakte bedden. Geen handdoeken voorzien . "

"Hotel Fidder is a bit outside the center of Zwolle but an easy walk (about ten minutes). It comes with on-street parking. It’s an old hotel minus a lift but is quite cozy and has more outlets in its rooms than many a modern hotel. It has a wonderful whiskey bar offering a diverse selection of whiskies from around the world and an all-day small bites menu. The breakfast buffet is also quite good. "
