"We had a great weekend stay! The place was clean and comfortably slept 17 people. The owner was extremely responsive. The kitchen was well stocked and it was helpful to have an additional fridge in the basement. There was a large table that seated everybody. The drive there didn’t have many street lights, but all the roads were paved and there is plenty of parking space at the house. The lake was nice and we enjoyed the canoes and kayaks provided as well as life jackets and beach towels. 12 people could easily sit around the fire pit and there was plenty of firewood. The area was very peaceful and the leaves were really pretty in the fall! "

"This place was absolutely perfect for our honeymoon. My husband and I went just the two of us, and it is so much better in person! Gorgeous views, 10/10 host, unforgettable experience. We paddle boarded for the first time (something we would’ve never done without the option here) and have now fallen in love with it. We can’t wait to come back with our kids. It truly is a breathtaking property and worth every dime. "

"Our stay was amazing!! The house has been updated beautifully and the pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. The lake view is breathtaking from the house, and the private dock is a little slice of heaven! Our property manager was so nice and helpful. We’re from CA and stayed for the weekend to go to Talladega. The only thing we were not expecting were the scorpions! There were 10 (we counted) LIVE scorpions on the first floor that we found our first night there, and found many more dead ones. They were very little and not harmful but something to be aware of for our next trip to the South. Nonetheless, lovely lovely stay and a beautiful lakeside home! Would absolutely book again. The nearby downtown area is so cute too, the little coffee shop was our favorite treat! "

"This is such a cozy, comfortable, wonderful cabin on a quiet beautiful lake. Lots of romm inside, and the best big covered porch overlooking the lake. We enjoyed every minute of our stay.! Our host answered questions within minutes of reaching out to them. Thanks for the lovely experience!"
