"I good place to lay your head. Not much impressive about the property except the view of the mountains and it was clean. Nothing special about the breakfast, but enough to have something to eat before heading out. For people traveling through, it’s quiet and clean and worth the stay. For those wanting something special for a couple days on vacation, I would look elsewhere."

"Beautiful custom cabin with every amenity you could possibly want or need. Especially loved the views from the porch of the surrounding mountains and area. Close to Waynesville and Maggie Valley. Hosts very kind and accommodating. Will definitely consider another stay in this lovely home. "

"I can't say everything I loved about my stay here. Jack and Christy have set the bar for peace and quiet. The cabin is rustic in construction but refined. It was everything I hoped for and much more. The cabana was a wonderful place to relax, enjoy a campfire, listen to the river, while sipping wine. The inside of the cabin is so well appointed, everything I needed. To sit on the porch and enjoy the surroundings was heavenly. I saw turkey every day and a couple of deer who came down to the river for a drink. The hosts "Jack and Christy" are second to none, from warm greeting to helpful information. I hope to book this place again soon. "

"Such lovely attention to detail in the rooms. Wild Rest was a true gem of a stop during a long weekend spent hiking and exploring the area. The rocking chairs on the patio were great for evenings spent outside."
