"I would expect there to be more frequent transport available to take guests between town and hotel. Only one an hour is not enough. I would expect coffee in the room and not have to go to lobby. The staff did not help much when it looked like a storm might strand us at the hotel, I had to do all the investigating - fortunately we were able to get a ferry. It’s not a hotel for anyone wanting to be anywhere than in their room. And in the bad weather we had on our stay it felt empty and lifeless...

"If you’re going to Nantucket and looking for a conveniently located place to stay, you won’t find anything better than the Jared Coffin House. When we arrived at the ferry, I called the hotel and they sent their courtesy vehicle down to pick up all of our items and we were able to walk around town until our hotel room was ready. For the rest of the trip it was so nice to have a place close by to go in the middle of the day to use the restroom before we continue doing whatever we needed to do....

"The staff used to be much better and interested in clients, the property also used to be boutique and now it feels corporate and it is three times the price"
