"This is a pretty tired older hotel that has not been updated.
I'll start with some positives: The location next to the convention center was excellent for us, attending a two-day convention. The view from our room over the railroad to the Columbia River was nice. The chair has TWO desk chairs, a rarity. We were able to move the desk in front of the window and sit across for meals and Scrabble.
The most serious maintenance deficiency was the elevatrs. One was not working. A second was working, but only in turtle mode -- taking up to four minutes to go from the 1st to the 4th floor -- that was scary because we thought it might stop entirely. The third worked intermittently. We had to wait up to 10 minutes for an elevator. The staff did not seem concerned -- in four days, we never saw an elevator repair person, truck, or other evidence.
The carpets are worn, the furniture is dated, the bed was a little tired, and there was only a tiny cabinet for a closet. The toilet flushed without much commitment to the task (fortunately, we did not challenge it too much).
The fridge was a tiny cube, and the internal shelving was incomplete. There was no microwave. The indoor pool is small, but the hot tub was hot ... cannibal pot hot.
The breakfast was ... acceptable. It's not advertised as a hot breakfast, but as a "light continental." It's more than that. Juice, yogurt, cold cereal, and Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches (with a microwave).
Best to say elsewhere."
