"The hotel is well located for access to the town, shops and bars. There are also a lovely walk behind the hotel on the old railway line to Threlkeld as well as down round the lake. The room was very clean and breakfast and dinner were excellent.
The staff were very friendly and helpful and there was plenty of parking "
"Signs of deterioration on inside of exterior walls in room. I guess to be expected with the age. A bit offputting.
All staff courteous and helpful, bar staffed as and when tbh.
Isolated. A 2 mile rustic, pleasant, mainly downhill stroll to Bowness town centre. Taxi back haha.
Overall a nice stay
