About this property

Tiny House / Log Cabin in beautiful wooded urban setting

  • What started out as a project to make use of leftover logs from our log home turned into a tiny house! Cozy Log Cabin looking out on almost an acre of nature but just minutes from all the DC sites. Perfect for a single escape, a romantic getaway, a small family/group gathering, or a serene remote work location. 1/4 mile to bus and 1.5 miles to DC metro, plenty of free parking. We live in a log home next door - so happy to provide advice on sites/restaurants and directions. NO SMOKING of any kind.Renters will be assessed the cost of deep cleaning and repairs to property damage caused by smoking or vaping, and NO (pets, and parties allowed)-Only registered guests will stay.

    The property is on .91 acres of land full of trees, creeks, deer, an occasional fox, and lots of birds - yet just 15 minute drive to DC and close to all the amenities, shopping, restaurants, movies, mini-golf, and of course the Nation's Capital!

    Check-in: pull into the gravel driveway to the right of the main log home; door will be open; keys on the dining table. Please send us a note when you check in and when you check out. Also, if you are going to use the pull-out sofa, please select extra person - this will cover the extra cleaning cost. Thank you!
