"The location is excellent to proximity to key DC tourist sites. The hotel does charge additional "fees" that I was not aware of when originally booked and prepaid for. The "fees" are not the hotel's fault apparently they are city tourist fees. But unexpected. The hotel staff was excellent and helpful with all the million questions I asked since it was my first time in DC. They accommodated some unique requests by my travel companions at all hours and we were extremely thankful. The hotel restaurants are very pricey, but all the restaurants in that area are because of the location so be aware when budgeting. I would definitely stay there again."
Hilton Garden Inn Washington DC/U.S. Capitol

"The staff was wonderful from check in to check out. The bar was convenient; however, they have a gnat issue that was unavoidable. YUCK The location is convenient but the homelessness around the area was disheartening and at times, while coming in and out, felt unsafe."
