"The staff was really super & helpful with anything I brought to their attention that they were able to accommodate.
Now for the inn itself:
Soaps, shower gel, etc. were nice: conveniently located on the wall in the shower.
The room came with microwave & fridge, that was great.
Floors were laminate wood look & were cold on the feet without socks & slippery when wearing socks.
There was loud construction going on in rooms on my floor for a day or two. Very loud & even had power tools going. I guess I was there at the wrong time, because that's a necessary factor in renovation.
But not welcome to guests.
The worst was, they are totally on the cheap with paper goods selection - toilet paper & tissue being the absolute cheapest thinnest I've ever encountered anywhere.
Even at the dollar store.
The light bulbs are very low wattage & the room was dim even at night.
Personal opinions:
I also thought the lobby furniture was 'tacky' with chairs that seat so low to the floor I wouldn't even think of sitting in one for fear of struggling to stand. L
Aren't lobbies supposed to be comfortable & welcoming? I appreciate the new modern look - but this was a modern 'cheesy' look.
All in all, I'm not looking for a beautiful room or lobby. But I do hope to get enough toilet paper not to have to go back & forth to the counter for more, or as in my own case - bring my own in.
For these reasons, I don't think this inn is well thought out."
