"I love staying here. The view is beautiful and there are activities like renting jet skis or boats for fishing. It is in close proximity to all of the local restaurants and shopping."

"It doesn't get any better than this! Chincoteague is absolutely wonderful. The Key West Cottages are gorgeous. Gorgeous views! The rooms are superb. Perfect for solo trips, at least in my opinion :). The staff is marvelous, very pleasant and polite. The outdoor pool is a must. I like that they have their own private beach. Perfect place to catch a sunset. There is a laundry facility on site for guests, just bring your own detergent. I will make this my vacation spot every year!"

"Our room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Our view of the bay was amazing on the balcony, with beautiful sunsets. The room was nice and spacious just a little musty smelling and we had ants and fruitflies to deal with. I know that's common on the island. We bought ant spray and a plug in air freshner and that took care of those issues right away. Fruitflies were annoying but it sounds like everyone on the island was dealing with those at their houses also. They had breakfast choices of waffles, muffins, eggs and sausage which was nice. They have a hot tub, swimming pool that was well maintained, nice dock and pier to fish off of."

"The Refuge Inn is truly a hidden gem. From the check-in to the amenities and the ponies on the property, our stay was marvelous. The rooms were extremely clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Breakfast (that is delivered right to your room at a time of your choosing) was great as well; plenty of options. The amenities (pool, hot tub, fitness room, etc.) were in fantastic condition. And of course, the gorgeous horses on the property made for an extra-special stay. I would highly recommend to all travelers!"
