"Great news: We adequately enjoyed our brief stay. The rooms have been updated with new furniture, carpet, and comfortable beds. (I stayed here a few years ago before improvements). The snacks available for purchase in the lobby are reasonably priced. The breakfast has good tasting juice and an automatic pancake machine. Front desk woman was nice. Could be better - pool still out of order, stairwells still old and worn (not refreshed like the rooms and halls), conditioner and body wash bottles in the shower were empty, old cruddy old bathroom door in room, lobby bathroom out of soap and nearly out of paper towels, thin towels in guest rooms. Other breakfast eggs looked unappetizing and no fruit available."

"Morris Inn is a wonderful place to stay while visiting Notre Dame and South Bend. The staff is exceedingly friendly, knowledgeable, gracious and helpful. The food and beverages available on site are delicious and excellent."

"Although a little run down. The room was clean staff was helpful. I think the biggest problem that made our stay difficult was the walk to room. Asked for handicap room and was put in back halls on second floor. Location was great and price was very reasonable. The saving on stay allowed extra $ to spend on the delicious food from local restaurants!"
