"First there was a refundable fee due at check in that I was not made aware of until AFTER I booked. It was refunded without issue. It was nice to have a physical key for the room instead of electronic. Heavy doors, sturdy stairs. I never heard anyone else while we were there. Location and parking were excellent. The bathroom and room were better in person than photos which was very nice. Owner was friendly, very chatty. I’ve read negative things about his wife- but I had no complaints. She just...

"Have to go to sister hotels for breakfast, sauna, other amenities. A/C in my room was broken, had to switch rooms. Windows didn’t open in room. Otherwise it was fine and close to beach. Have to pay extra for housekeeping."

"The staff was nice and the location was awesome. The largest complaint I have is the bugs throughout the rooms. We rented 5 rooms for 5 days and there were roaches in 3 of the rooms and some of the appliances did not work in a couple and the curtains were falling down in one and to be honest it really was not as nice as I expected for what we paid. The staff did address all of our complaints immediately so that made a big difference."

"This was a cute house. It was in a great location for our needs. There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance as well as the beach. "

"My wife, my two boys, and myself had a great Labor Day Weekend! This place was awesome and very great for kids. They lived the playground on the beach that was very close, and their new dream catchers from the store downstairs! "

"It was a clean room, nice bed, good distance from everything, and host was very easy to get in contact with! We only stayed for one night, but everything was great :) There is a coffee station which was really nice."

"Loved loved loved this rental. Wife and I stayed for her birthday and had a wonderful time. It was more than we expected. Anything we needed was there. Beautiful sunsets on the rooftop deck with a drink."

"Location was great! Accommodations were comfortable. The only comment I have is that we had dealt with a lot of flies but wasn’t sure if this was due to the area. I’m from the west coast so not sure if flies are just in season but we had to kill many throughout our stay. Overall had a wonderful time and would recommend! AC was cool and super needed for the heat :-)"

"It was okay, mostly. The room was old and dated. It smelled bad; my wife said it smelled like a wet dog. The View was exceptional and I'm surprised that the listing didn't have any pictures of it, that I remember. In fact, we weren't sure what the view is going to be like even though it said Oceanside. That can sometimes be deceiving. A description of "Oceanfront" would be better. The staff did their job but that's about it. They neither greeted us when we left or came each time. We are used to...

"It was a great and wonderful stay. Honestly no bad reviews, we did have a couple of suggestions. The washing machine may need to be replaced or upgraded. It was super loud when it was in the spin cycle and almost had the entire condo shaking. The bathroom located on the second floor is a bit cramped. I would suggest getting the door to swing out. This would allow for bit more room in that bathroom and allow you to relocate the toilet paper dispenser."

"Overall the experience was great. You are definitely paying for the location and the view. The amenities are good, but not on par with the view and location. Everything is either within walking distance or trolly distance. Would book again. Dave, the host, was one of the best we’ve encountered—very reachable and responsive."

"Awesome view of beach and ocean. Clean and well maintained unit. Good size for 4-6 adults"

"We had a wonderful vacation here! The easy beach access and beautiful beach views were exactly what we were looking for. Host was very responsive when needed. Would stay here again!"

"Place was clean, saw Gerardo multiple times throughout our stay, was always polite and asking how everything was going or if we needed anything. Resort amenities and facilities were very nice and the location was great!"

"Everything was clean and comfortable. Our host responded within minutes when we reached out. The views were spectacular. Within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants. Had a fantastic time and look forward to visiting again. "
