"The response to the request I emailed before check-in was quick and accurate, and the reception staff welcomed me warmly. The Afternoon Tea one-time coupon had the same kind of food menu, but it was only sweet. There was no music or pool bar service at the pool, and although we were told there would be a pool bar, it was difficult to use it because the rooftop restaurant opens at 2 p.m.
The pool staff were merely holding their posts rather than being safety personnel, and it was nothing more than a quiet pool, not a fun one. Breakfast was on the first floor; the food offerings on the third floor were similar, but the first floor was a bit quieter, which was nice. The minibar drinks were affordable, and the food and drink service was tasty and reasonably priced. It was okay in many ways, but the room cleaning was very disappointing. The carpet area under the bed was not cleaned at all. There was nail and toenail litter from previous guests, and hair remained on the carpet even after cleaning.. Cleaning needs improvement."
