Unique Rustic and Renovated Barn in the Woods
Enjoy gorgeous views of the Bitterroot Mountains from this barn in the woods. Starry skies at night and plenty of wildlife in the day, this little slice of wooded Montana is the perfect place to relax. Listen to birds, take a walk, watch the stars, enjoy a fire or grill on the Traeger. Both the upstairs and downstairs make two full living spaces with their own sleeping arrangements, full bathrooms and full kitchens. Only 25 minutes from town or 10 minutes from multiple trail heads, you're sure to enjoy your stay, we have internet connection and also really good reception. Recently we have added a huge outdoor deck and a seven person hot tub. If you want serenity or creek fishing, you will have private creek access. This barn has a cute studio apartment with a converted barn loft. The barn loft has a complete kitchen, movie popcorn maker, pool table, games and more including a giant projector screen. Sit outside by the fire or enjoy pool and a big screen movie upstairs.. There are many opportunities to see wildlife like birds, deer, bears and other critters. If you're really outdoorsy, the river is just down the road. But if you want unique adventures, there's plenty to see and do within an hour a drive. Find out why we love our little spot on the mountain. Please note, we do have a rooster who can be noisy. Four wheel drive is highly recommended in the winter months. And don't hesitate to reach out to us with questions.

Fantastic retreat for a family or friends. Beautiful nature and fully equipped lodging, spacious and with tons of games, home movie theatre, jacuzzi overlooking mountain sunsets and more!
We really enjoyed our short stay! Place was very clean and the bed was very comfortable! We had some things come up and had to shorten our stay and the host was so kind and allowed us to do so. We would stay here again!
Beautiful place, amazing view, very clean and well stocked. It was so much fun to getaway and play all the games they have. Extremely friendly and kind hosts. Wish I could go there every weekend!
This property was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay. It is relaxing and in a great location. The host is amazing and super accommodating. Anytime I contacted her she responded right away.
We have stayed here three times and enjoy it every time. The peace, quiet, and gorgeous views outside are my favorite. My family enjoys all the inside activities. We hope to return soon.
Great place! The game room was awesome! Kept us entertained in the evening and on the rainy day! The view of the mountains is spectacular! I will definitely consider renting this property again!
My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The two room guest barn was clean, and fully stocked. Our the kids and kids at heart all loved the well maintained game room. Only down side was how far back it was (15 minutes or so off the highway), but overall we were very pleased with our stay.
Three of us booked this cabin looking to get away from cell phone service and traffic and truly enjoy the back country, and it was everything that we could have asked for! Pauline was a wonderful host and we got to meet her and her family briefly, just wonderful people and you can tell they really care about their property and are putting a lot of good work into it. I will definitely stay here again if I am back in the area.
A lovely, rustic quiet place. Great for a family or a bunch of guys wanting to play lots of cool indoor games. It’s lovely and quiet outside. Great host, very helpful.
Came to spend time with my son and grandkids. Most hung out at their house and explored Hamilton during the day, and spent our evenings there playing pool and just hanging out together.
Our family loved the hot tub overlooking the beautiful mountains. A midnight view of the stars was absolutely amazing. Host was quick to reply and super easy to communicate with. Wished for more bedrooms but we knew this when we rented. A wonderful Montana experience.
The location is so quiet and serene. The views are just beautiful. We had a lot of fun playing pool and watching movies, when we weren’t enjoying the beauty of the scenery and the fresh air. My granddaughters loved the air hockey and mini pool table as well as the games provided. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and would stay again.
The hostess was very helpful and kind, as well.
Incredible gem tucked away in Victor MT. Everything you need right at your fingertips! The Apt downstairs has washer and dryer along with a comfortable queen bed! Upstairs has an amazing projection tv along with a popcorn machine and a ton of games. Which includes a p
It is at the end of a winding road to the property. A nice quiet place. Really enjoyed sitting on the deck in the evening, listening to the silence.
Pauline was really friendly and helpful, recommending places to go. The upstairs game room is really nice, although we did not spend much time up there, what with being seniors.
The only downside to me, easily rectified, is the kitchen utensil availability is a bit austere. I’d stay there again.
Super fun for kids and adults! It was in the woods with amazing views!
We had a family wedding to attend in the area. There were 4 adults and 4 kids. They had lots of game options as well as a hot tub. We enjoyed the pool table, air hockey, darts, board games and they even had a virtual reality game, we all had fun trying it, but also watching the other family member play was so funny:) Pauline was very quick to respond back to us. One thing I found very nice was there was no long list of check out rules. A lot of places I’ve stayed you have to remove sheets and put stuff in the washer. I get that it helps out, but you are already spending money to stay. It was nice to not have extra things to worry about while trying to get checked out. We all had a great time and would love to go back sometime!
There were five adults and it worked out fairly well. Two slept downstairs and three up. I might have missed it in the description, but it was a little different to have to exit the downstairs into a shop area to get to the upstairs, but it worked. Pull out couches are fine for kids but the bar in them is a bit rough. I brought an air mattress because I knew I didn't want to sleep on pullouts. Sleeping arrangements were clearly stated in the description. No real dining area other than bar spaces. I'm a tall person and it was still hard for me to eat there. We sat around the card gaming table to eat and visit. It would have been nice to have a full size refrigerator upstairs. The hot tub was fantastic! Never saw the host. A couple of men were out working but other than that we didn't see anyone, which was great. We could have found someone if we needed anything. It was very quiet and relaxing.
When renting a "Rustic Cabin in the woods" you're not quite sure what you're walking into.
I was pleasantly surprised.
Not only were the accommodations and amenities as advertised but the Charm of the cabin and the friendly, down to earth Hosts were the icing on the cake.
They met any need we had yet there were few as most things were taken care of before we arrived.
This is a custom cabin that has been adorned with Charm at every turn. Alma and Pauline are very easy going yet hands on hosts.
If you're looking for The Hilton. Its in Missoula.
If you're looking for a secluded clean cabin with panoramic views, star gazing, and plenty to do. This is it.
Yes you have to leave the downstairs cabin, walk thru the shop to access the stairs to the rest of the cabin. But its hardly an inconvenience. and it provides privacy like in our case where we had our adult children with us. They stayed upstairs and we downstairs when we wanted our privacy.
It was over 100 during our stay yet you wouldn't know it until you stepped outside.
The Traeger was very useful. The Hot Tub as well.
So much was provided that we didn't expect. BBQ Tools, Plates, Bowls and other dishes.
This is a unique experience. You will not find a more charming atmosphere or 2 more accommodating hosts.
We felt right at home like family.
I'm very surprised the rates are not higher.
We are already talking about booking during the winter to have that experience s well.
