Grand Hotel Aminta

"The Gran Hotel Aminta was a lovely property. Overall, the staff was friendly and it was very clean. Beds were more comfortable than other places we stayed in Italy. The only thing we didn’t love was that the shuttle service to the main area of Sorrento was not optimal. You really had to plan your day around when it runs and when it comes back. And crossing the street to get the shuttle always felt like a death wish given the crazy drivers on the windy road!"

"The room was very nice and had a great view of the city. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and we were able to keep our bags at the front desk for a couple of hours past checkout to explore the city. We absolutely loved the breakfast and the restaurant’s roof top view, and would highly recommend adding it to your stay. The location of the hotel is very convenient to access the train station, but it can feel a bit unsafe to walk around at night as it’s a high traffic, urban area. However, this did not deter us from exploring during the day as there are some yummy bakeries and cafes in the area."

"Great location and great view! In the heart of Positano where all the shops are and easy to access without having the carry your luggage up / down stairs to get to hotel - it’s right off the Main Street. You can hear the scooters/cars at night but manageable if you close all windows. The hotel was very clean and spacious. I’d recommend it!"

"The room was very clean and comfortable, and the beach view was beautiful. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The bar area had a nice atmosphere and drinks were great. The only downside was that service could be a little slow during busy times, but overall we had a relaxing and enjoyable experience."

"A wonderful stay for a night. At check-in the staff parked the car for us in their own parking area free of charge, and at check-out the car was delivered promptly. The dinner at the hotel restaurant was fantastic. We were met with such professionalism and politeness by Vincenzo and his staff. They really made a fantastic dinner even more amazing. Then there was the amazing sunset viewed right from your table enjoying a glass of complimentary prosecco. Truly an unforgettable experience."
