The room was fine, especially for the low rate I got. The restaurant was empty on a Friday night so went downtown for dinner which turned out great!

We were in the area for a funeral. AGAIN, I am a handicapped veteran and found the stairway to the lower parking dangerous.

We were impressed with downtown area. Good places to eat and it felt safe. We didn’t feel comfortable venturing far but we did Uber back to our hotel. It seemed like there was only one Uber driver available

Vicksburg needs help in the Keep America Beautiful department. It has a strong Southern Heritage that needs to be built up. I would recommend tons and tons of azalea bushes on I-20 right down the median, all the way to the Mississippi bridge.
