"This impeccably maintained vintage hotel was immaculate in every way. Like stepping back in time to where the rich and famous of the past surely visited. Great view overlooking Montreux, but not super convenient to walking the lake promenade. There is a tram or bus stop nearby that easily takes you up and down."

"Basic but comfortable. Parking across the street. Restaurant downstairs. No aircon and fan was small and didn't work great so room was a bit hot. Other than that was a good stay."

"Localisation centrale et facile d’accès. Bien que le stationnement soit payant, il est vaste et directement sous l’hôtel. Petit déjeuner très élaboré et savoureux. Le seul petit bémol, la chambre est un peu exigüe et il n’y a pas de support pour les valises."

"The hotel is a real Swiss chalet high on the mountain side. Amazing view clean comfortable beds with duvets. Excellent buffet breakfast, live music Thursday nights. Full bar and restaurant. All locally sourced food really tasty. Excellent place. Highly recommend it."

"Staying at Hotel Masson was an absolute delight—choosing this historic gem over a standard chain hotel added so much character to our trip. Located in Veytaux just outside downtown Montreux and practically next door to the stunning Chillon Castle, it offers a wonderful way to experience the distinct charm of the region. Transportation is a breeze with the Veytaux-Chillon train and bus stations close by (just note that the walk up includes a steep hill, though we found Rue Bonivard to be a bit less tiring!). The historical loveliness of the hotel is truly unmatched. It was so much fun to read about the hotel's history, admire the old pictures and drawings, and take in the beautiful antique furniture scattered throughout. Despite being housed in a building with so much history, cleanliness and comfort were never compromised—the bathrooms are nicely updated and the rooms are very clean and comfortable! The property features gorgeous, relaxing spaces to lounge around, paired with amazing views. Above all, Simona, Frank, and the rest of the staff went completely above and beyond with their communication and hospitality to ensure our stay was comfortable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would love to come back!"

"Beautifully designed, very well located and well maintained. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. The room we got had just a single small window which felt a bit weird. No closets was also a bit weird. The Roman bath is amazing, though I do think a sayna/jacuzzi would upgrade the experience. Amazing breakfast!"
