Staff, amenities, and the location were all great! The coffee and muffin cart in the morning is an awesome touch! This place is a gem, we will be back!
Within the first minute, you can tell that this is a family run business. The owners take great pride in making this your home away from home...so many little touches that mean so much, from coffee and muffins every morning to perfect touches in each room. Staff is very warm and welcoming. We would not hesitate to stay at this spotlessly kept adorable hotel again!
The room was clean and nicely decorated. The staff was attentive. Great location within walking distance of beach, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Awesome stay! Right in the middle of everything on Ocean Drive in Vero. Very clean and comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. Enjoyed our stay!
The property is a great location and room was clean and neat. Our sink wouldn’t drain but we left a day early due to bad weather. I would definitely stay at this property again. I love that it’s dog friendly!
Nice and quiet area, very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. Already recommended to friends who ended up booking the next day!! Definitely planning on another trip soon 🙂
A totally outstanding experience. The gracious demeanor of the staff and their extraordinary level of customer service won us over completely. My wife and I will most certainly become regulars when we visit Vero Beach.
The Islander Inn was great, very clean, quiet, and had everything we were looking for. Jeff made us very welcome and was always helpful during our stay. It’s conveniently located with lots of shops and dining walkable.
Great service and location. Property is well managed and very clean. Enjoyed the Saturday Happy Hour as well as morning coffee and muffins. Use of free bikes and beach chairs was an added bonus.
A quaint place to stay. Not far from the ocean. Restaurants are right around the corner. Staff and management were friendly and right. On top of things. Swimming pool was clean. Room was cleaned. It was a great place to stay.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Great location
Room spacious
Problem with hand basin drainage
Service of room late in day
access into pool not easy
With a little update could be perfect
We enjoyed our stay at the Islander Inn, which was very close to a range of shops , bars and restaurants and just across the street from the beach. We used the pool area for sunbathing, which was pleasant and quiet. We found the resort Manager extremely friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout our stay. Complementary coffee and muffins was served in the courtyard each morning, which was a nice addition, although there was no coffee maker/ Kettle in the room.
We chose The Islander for our group to stay at for a family wedding in the area for its affordability and proximity to the beach. We were blown away by the hospitality and helpfullness of the staff. There were 15 uof us (adults and children) and we loved most was that all we had to do was step out our doors to see and visit with family members as we were all on main level rooms in the courtward, which is also where the morning coffee and muffins were served. We were also pleasantly surprised by the variety of local restaurants and shops in the surrounding blocks, community park across the street, and local market/grocery store right next door.
The office has beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas to borrow for the day, bikes to use, and a large ice machine to fill your cooler. The wedding dictated our location, but we're not opposed to meeting up in Vero Beach again, and this is where we'll stay!
The property is an antique, Architecture Old Key west style. The patio or garden is green, with colofour natural flowers pots. Our study was extremely clean, complete kitchen, wide walking-shower, toilleretes, bathsrobe, wide closet and a free front parking per room. All the building, the room, and the wide bathroom are accesible for wheel chairs and mobility cart for erderlies. One of my favorite characteristics, a plus : is the tranquilty, they stablish and explain all costumers their exceptional rules increase thw quality as : avoid noise pollution after certain hours which allowed us to really rest and recoverd from the daily stress .
This rule does not prevent anyone to have fun. The place is located in the epicenter of all kind of fun at Vero Beach. The Modern Art museum is 10/blocks walking , as well as comedy stand up , and the jazz Riverside daily party a or shop in delicate, finest boutiques next door or restaurants with music in front the ocean . Not reason to retaliate over the silient night over 11 PM,
You can go out to get drunk if it is your preference, specially after being tell the rules and accept them, the day you arrive or when booked in this civic , family oriented treasure, miniparadise. The Islander is enviroment friendly, pet friendly, daily chemical check of the pool water, daily clean towels, daily breakfast with delicious coffe brewed therw and just baked muffins every morning!!! Because costumer service and how Jeff & Ramon make it excell.

The property was in a great location, walkable to a bunch of restaurants /shops & the staff was very friendly. For the price point per night, I did not have high expectations. Was just looking for a decent casual place to stay for a few nights while visiting some family.
Overall the property was well kept, the rooms were spacious and as expected for the most part. However, they are a bit dated. The microwave looked super old and the fridge had a bunch of what looked like rust all along the bottom of it. Also our floor was dirty as we noticed on our socks after walking around the room with them on when we arrived.
In addition, the room we stayed in was unfortunately right next to the pool therefore our room smelled like chlorine. We then tried to open a window to air it out but the window was broken so we had to use a water bottle to keep it propped open.
Also, at night time the pool lights lit up our room (even through the blinds) making it difficult to sleep so we had to hang additional towels over that window to try and block out the light.
I hate to leave negative insights on our stay, but as someone who makes traveling decisions based on reviews..I felt it was only right for future guests to hear our experience and for the owner to be aware of our issues.
Again, I want to note that the staff was super kind & I am sure if I were to of said something, they probably would of switched our rooms but since it was a short stay, we did not want to go through the hassle.
