5/5 - Excellent
Verdun was beautiful! We wished we could’ve stayed longer! The forest is gorgeous, and all the WWI history is very interesting.

Parking okay and breakfast was good. HOWEVER, there was no elevator and no assistance for mobility challenged patrons. Very unsatisfactory.

Knowing the past history and tragedies of over one hundred years ago it is a wonder and a honor to spend time in a city brought back to life and rebuilt the way it is. Verdun and the surrounding countryside will always be a sacred place for me.
Very interesting for anyone with an interest in history.
Loved the small city charm and cafe eating on the Meuse River. Hotel close to battlefield.
The downtown area is just okay; we found the surrounding battlefields, forts and memorials more interesting than the town itself.
A must see location for anyone studying or remotely interested in World War I.
