"Rooms are clean but dated. The staff is excellent and very helpful. The location is excellent as it’s close to the zocalo and Malecón. I’m a retired senior so the pace is perfect. Great food and even found a casino to do some gambling. The pool is small but big enough to exercise. No gym which is why I rated this hotel good and not excellent. A great deal for the price."

"I booked this hotel several weeks in advance of my trip, looking forward to another enjoyable stay. Having stayed at this property multiple times over the past few years, I was already familiar with the hotel and had always appreciated its excellent location, beautiful views, and generally welcoming atmosphere. Unfortunately, this particular visit turned into one of the most disappointing experiences I have had at a hotel, not necessarily because of the maintenance issue we encountered, but because of the unprofessional and dismissive attitude of one front desk employee. Upon arriving at the hotel, our experience initially started on a very positive note. We arrived earlier than the scheduled check-in time, and the staff greeted us warmly. They were kind enough to offer to hold our luggage while we waited for our room to become available, which we genuinely appreciated. This was exactly the type of hospitality I had come to expect from this hotel based on my previous visits. When check-in time finally arrived, the process went smoothly. The staff were friendly, everything seemed organized, and we were excited to settle into our room. Upon entering, we immediately noticed the beautiful view overlooking the Zócalo. The location and scenery were absolutely perfect, and this was one of the main reasons I had chosen to stay"
