I had a very disappointing stay. The fridge in the apartment was broken, which made it difficult to store food. There was also no lighting in the hallways and stairwells, making it unsafe to move around at night. The stairs leading into the property were in poor condition and appeared to be falling apart, which was concerning.

The size of the apartment was nice. Confusing for check in, requested assistance for transport to the apartment but none arrived. Tried to reach out but no WiFi, was repaired the next day by maintenance who also checked the AC. Did have concerns regarding the pillows, one in particular had several black spots in the stuffing so we did not use it but wasn’t able to get help with that or extra towels and no washing machine. Showers were quite small and with no lift using the stairs was stressful with my disability. Railings would have been nice, rope was not really helpful especially where 4 stairs had significant damage. Had I known it was four flights up, I would have passed on this accommodation. The AC struggled but was fully operational. Pulled all the window linen away which helped but the apartment needed two more units, due to size and layout, to be effective. Checking out was concerning, no email confirmation. Guess all was good on their end.

Big apartment, but dusty and not enough glasswear- no wine glasses, or paper towels. 2 out of 3 bathrooms had poor water pressure and one toilet did not flush correctly, and had a strange smell upon arrival. Great location though!

Beautiful property, bigger than I expected which was a pleasant surprise. Very clear directions on how to get there, and in a great location - close to Rialto.

We enjoyed the property. It is older furnished, but as advertised. You are immersed in local culture. We enjoyed the rooftop balcony at night. We felt the unit is very authentic and kept very clean. Good a/c.

Location was as described. Wifi did not work and communication with host did not rectify. Cleanliness of the property was awful. Stains on walls and window air units. Dust from vents has probably never been cleaned. Terrace furniture covered in bird feces. The furniture is in terrible condition. I would not recommend this place

This property was a total disappointment. The furnishings in this apt do not resemble the pictures on Hotels.com. Not even close. Every piece of the furniture had something wrong with it - from missing handles on side dressers and wardrobe to peeling fabric on kitchen chairs. Pull out couch mattress was depressed in the middle. One of the AC units didn’t work at all. The shutter looking at the canal is broken and doesn’t go up, prohibiting view of the advertised “canal view.” The inside stairway leading up to apartment had broken in places, making a totally unsafe entry. The only positive was that the proprietor offered a small refund to stay and did install a new AC unit on the last day of our stay.

This is the first negative review I’ve ever written. We walked into a couple having sex in the shower. Our apartment was double booked. Mistakes happen, but how everything has been handled ever since has been brutal. We were told the company would send a cleaning company before we got into the apartment. That never happened the first night. I was alone in the apartment when the other guest returned without knocking. When we asked to get the code changed so that they could not just come back again (we had three young kids with us), we were told it was not possible until the next day. Aside from that. There was blood on two of the beds and our AC broke the first night. The company was really good about coming in the next day and apologized for everything. We were told we would get a refund but it’s been two weeks with zero communication or follow up. We asked Expedia about it. They said that they were having a hard time getting a hold of this place about it and there was nothing that they can do.

The listing did not match the quality and condition of the listing. Despite raising these concerns multiple times during our stay, they were not adequately addressed. The responses were largely evasive and did not result in meaningful action.The issues we experienced included: Towels with holes. One bathroom shower with extremely low water pressure. One bathroom toilet with inadequate flushing pressure. The stairway leading to the unit was not illuminated, creating a safety hazard. The stone steps underneath the carpeting had fallen apart, making them particularly dangerous in the dark. Wardrobe doors without door knobs, making the wardrobes difficult and unable to use. Dishes left inside the dishwasher upon our arrival, leaving us unsure whether they were clean or dirty. No kitchen paper towels or kitchen cloths provided. Air conditioning units in two bedrooms were unable to cool the rooms adequately. These were not isolated inconveniences but multiple deficiencies that significantly impacted our stay.

I recently stayed at this rental apartment and had an absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. The apartment was spotless, beautifully decorated, and exactly as described in the listing—if not better. It was clear that a lot of care and attention went into both the design and upkeep of the space. The location was perfect—close to everything I needed, with great restaurants, shops, and public transport just a short walk away. Despite being so central, the apartment was peaceful and quiet, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Every little detail—from the comfortable bed and high-quality linens to the well-equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi—made the stay extra enjoyable. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a comfortable, hassle-free, and enjoyable stay. Easily one of the best rental experiences I've ever had!

The air conditioning in our bedroom broke and there was no one to fix it on that day. It was very hot in Venice so we could not sleep in that room. The water pressure was very bad but I think all Venice may be that way? There were a lot of stairs if you have a hard time climbing stairs.

Balcony Apt with View

Convenient location in campo Santa Marina- a small square with a bar/caffe across the street which was great for grabbing a quick breakfast. About 15 min walk to Rialto Bridge and close to most shops, restaurants and pick up spot for gondola. Family of 4 stayed in apt with balcony, master BR, smaller bedroom (both with closets and TV), larger full bath and small half bath. Living room with TV and small kitchen was a nice plus. Owner communicated directions well, but never showed up which was ok I guess. Only complaint is stairs is a bit old and felt unsafe at certain spots. Charming spot but could use a bit sprucing up!

내 인생 최악의 숙소

개미떼가 창궐하는 집에 비싼 숙박료를 내고 투숙했네요 아이들 옷에 개미때가 나타나 아이들이 개미 트라우마를 얻었네요. 아마 지금 우리 캐리어 안에도 개미가 따라왔을겁니다. 전체적으로 귀신 나올거 같은 낡고 으스스한 분위기에 1층부터 진동하는 하수구 냄새. 허리도 굽히기 힘들정도로 좁은 샤워부스에 정면을 보고 앉을 수 없는 변기. 부엌 집기류와 가구는 쓸 수 없는 정도로 낡았음. 운영진은 얼굴도 보지 못했고 그나마 연락도 매우 힘들며 연락에 피드백도 전혀 없음. 3박동안 청소나 타월,시트교체 한번도 안해줘놓고 체크아웃하는 날은 10시정각에 청소원이 들이닥침. 와이파이도 드럽게 연결안됨. 정신건강을 생각한다면 지금이라도 예약을 취소하세요. 오죽하면 다른 여행지에 와서 새 호텔 체크인 하자마자 후기부터 남기고 있네요.

Très bien situé et très grand. Problème d'odeur (cigarette) dans la chambre à coucher principale et léger retour d'égout dans la salle de bain. Malgré ce petit désagrément que le propriétaire à la capacité de régler, je recommande fortement car Terrasse donnant une vue incroyable et lieu très convoité.

Magnifique

Super expérience, nous avons été très très surprises en arrivant, nous ne nous attendions pas à avoir un appartement aussi grand et aussi bien situé !! Nous l'avons trouvé très beau et cerise sur le gâteau, d'un côté un grand balcon qui donnait sur une petite place et de l'autre côté une vue plongeante sur le canal !

The property is not in very good condition - two window blinds would not open; not enough kitchen utensils for the number of people booked; the shower water often just ran cold - but the really problem is the service from the owner. We were hassled by WhatsApp message for our credit card details in order to get city tax out of us. The owner then charged us, without any warning, almost twice the advertised rate in tax. The owner refused to pick up the phone to talk - the WhatsApp number just went to a voicemail - so all communication was done through text. When I questioned the amount taken from my card for city tax, the owner just blamed Expedia/Hotels.com for advertising the wrong rate. This created a lot of unnecessary anxiety and marred what was meant to be a dream family holiday. The fact that this place is in a good location for the main Venice sights did not make up for the stress caused by the unprofessional hassling leading up to our arrival in the city.
